Why finding a 12-word phrase is practically IMPOSSIBLE

Alright fellas, let's talk about something that for some of us is unclear yet interesting.

As we all know, a recovery phrase is a group of random words generated by the cryptocurrency wallet that allows us to store crypto. Whenever you create a wallet, 12 words are assigned and you are asked to write them down or save them in your preferred way (usually 24 words for BTC wallets).

These words come from the published BIP39 specification which is basicly the standard method for sharing ideas, promoting changes and improvements to the BTC protocol (like our polls). So, if you lose these words, you won't be able to access your wallet and your funds so BE CAREFUL.

But have you wondered, why 12 words?

The answer is obviously for security. But how secure is this method of accessing your funds?

The algorithm that creates the 12-word seed phrase has 2,048 possible words to choose from. Seems like a small number considering that there are millions of seed phrases right? Well, let's be math nerds for 1 minute. The possible combinations to create a 12-word seed phrase is 2048 to the 12th power which comes out to the number: 5,444,517,870,735,015,415,413,993,718,908,291,383,296

Let's speak about the universe now.

The number of atoms that exist in the universe are between 10^78-10^82. This is 10 with 78 fucking 0 behind.
