What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever done in the name of HODLing?

Did you sell your car to buy Bitcoin at an all-time high? Did you take out a second mortgage to invest in Dogecoin before Elon went on SNL? Share your craziest stories in the comments and let's all laugh (or cry) together!

I'll start with mine, back in November of 21' when Bitcoin was hitting its peak, I decided to take out a loan to buy even more than I would otherwise have been able to. I was so convinced that it was going to keep going up that I didn't want to miss out after watching it climb higher day after day. You can probably guess how that turned out. I was forced to take up an additional job and cut back on basically any expendable spending for over a year out of stubbornness and refusal to sell for a loss. I'm still holding and don't plan to sell once I’m back in the green but for the foreseeable future I plan to DCA in and out on price swings to lower my average and increase my holdings.
