Ran right into a conundrum today when I purchased a new PC. Now I have a old PC with a intel i5 & 16 GB of ram. What is the most practical way to contribute it to the bitcoin network?
Do I use this old/slow PC to contribute to a bitcoin mining pool? (seeing as solo mining with a old pc is laughable) or do I run my own node? (tbh not entirely sure what that entails) or should I just sell it for parts, let’s say on Ebay for example and use the proceeds to increase my stack?
r/Bitcoin help me find the correct answer to the question, not against putting in the time to get the right outcome and learning more about bitcoin in the process.
