Been trading stocks and crypto for a while, and something's been on my mind.
I can see my P&L clearly on any given day — up ₹X, down ₹Y. But I realized I have almost no visibility into the actual pattern behind my losses. Like:
- Do I take bigger risks right after a big win?
- Do I hold onto losing positions way longer than I should, hoping they recover?
- Do I overtrade or revenge trade after a bad day?
Most apps I've used just show P&L, win rate, charts — the "what happened" stuff.
None of them really dig into the "why do I keep doing this" part.
Curious if others feel this gap too, or if you've found something that actually helps with this. Have you tried journaling apps or trackers that go beyond just numbers? Did any of them actually help you spot your own patterns, or was it mostly just glorified spreadsheets?
